Hey guys, just wondering if you've looked at a game, thought you wouldn't like it, started playing it and realised it's pretty good and you like it?
It has happened to me on a couple occasions. The first one was with Prince of Persia on Xbox 360, the second one was with League of Legends.
So, has this happened to you? Just curious.

Orcs Must Die 1 & 2
Honestly these two looked like the most half assed games on the planet, but once I got to playing them, I racked up several hours on each. Of course, like any arcade style game such as that, it gets repetitive but overall it's a great game!
Same with Xcom, except it was harder to get tired of. I thought I wouldn't like it because a lot of strategy time games seem to turn me away. I was shocked with how much fun I had with it and overall it's a great game that I would still play if I wasn't busy

I'm going to go the opposite route.
I thought I was going to love BF4 and I actually hate it.

I bought the game "Conan" for about $4 two years ago just to try out a new game, I didn't expect much from it but I ended up enjoying it and nearly completing it I didn't complete it because I lent it to a friend and he moved away so I never got chance to get it back.

Prince of Persia the forgotten sands, i thought I would not like because I don't really like games that a fiction and have really big unrealistic monsters . However this was a amazing and would recommend it to any who's would like to play a good story.

I didn't think I would like COD: Ghost but I ended up really liking the playstyle and how everything went down in multiplayer.

Assassin's Creed -- I thought it would be too difficult to free run and to play in general.
Red Dead Redemption -- I hate westerns.
Oblivion -- I usually hate RPG's.
Halo 2 -- I wasn't into playing with/against people I didn't know at the time. I was also very skeptical of online gaming in general.

All the time. To list a few off the top of my head, Killer is Dead, Catherine, Clash of Heros, Borderlands, Beautiful Katamari, Dragons Dogma, etc..
