So I know that most laptops cannot have their graphics cards upgraded, at least not easily but I just wanted to know if anyone knows whether it is possible to upgrade an Acer Aspire 5733 graphics card. Mine currently has Intel HD - 128mb dedicated memory, however I am looking to upgrade this to 1gb+. Please don't tell me no unless you know for sure it's not possible with this specific laptop
thanks in advance
thanks in advance

I was actually researching this yesterday, I think it's only a few motherboards are capable of changing it as some have them soldered on and if you are able to upgrade it's a minor upgrade aswell as laptop gpus being difficult to find on their own, I'll try to find the link

The graphics card that you have in that laptop is integrated with the motherboard, meaning it's not replaceable.

I didn't realise a dedicated card could be integrated, thanks
also the problem wasn't that I wouldn't be able to do the job, because I know someone who can, its just a case of being able to find a compatible card.
