What do you even get if you prestige besides an emblem next to your name and a background?

Well I'm a level 60 right now and to keep prestiging I need to buy the characters and everything else all over again lol so if all it gives is an emblem and a background I don't think it's worth it

Once you prestige you just buy the next character and keep playing. You can still play with the first character tho, And he will also stay level 60 no prestige so you will still have all your weapons from that character.

what is the point in not prestiging? you can unlock everything you want anyway if you are a pubstar it makes sense to prestige whats the point in playing hours and hours and staying the same level
