As stupid as it might sound I think that the companies purposely make the game cases that way so if you do happen to crack or break the game and need a new one you have to pay more money. Just a thought though.

Alright, so this just happened to my GTA V and I'm pretty mad about it due to the fact that I have to pay $60 to get a new one. My problem is the way the game is stuck in between a circular thing inside the case which keeps it in place, but as you guys probably know, whenever you take it out, you know the noise it makes? It sounds like the game is breaking, right? Well, actually, it is slowly breaking the game. Here is basically what happened to my GTA V.

If you can't tell, look at the circular part in the middle towards the top. It's pretty annoying that this happens. Honestly, I think that the design should be changed to something like having clamps that go on all four sides and you can slide them over the disc to keep it in place, or you can slide them out to get the game out. Also, some of you are going to say that I pushed too hard or rushed too hard to get the game out. No, I didn't. Obviously you have to apply pressure to get it into the case and that's when it unfortunately happened to me with GTA V and other games.

That's Activision for ya. They make the shittiest disks known to man. That's why I try and avoid Activision as much as possible. Went through 4 GTA IV disks, 7 MW2 disks. When buying games, try and avoid Activision as much as you can.

I'd rather have cartridges than disks.
Something like an SD card could be used, I don't know.

You can always buy a cd case and keep your games in there.

I remember some cases had the center circle thing pop the disc up. Now they dont do that. You have to turn the case upside down so the disc can fall out.

That's exactly why they made them that way. So people will buy more copies, hence making money on both ends. Microsoft gets money, and so does the company of the game. the majority of people its happening to is a lot of **** people. But the people who actually rant about it are few or none.

To sum things up, its basically a money making scheme a lot of people overlook.

This is weird to me now because I started using them plastic sleeves age's ago after this happened to my cod 4 disk. I just take it out the first time and then put it back in a sleeve, easy access and safer
