why would you get samsung? your just paying more for the brand nothing else if you want a good reliable flat screen get a toshiba like this one -

Edit: the 32 inch is cheaper lol amazon these days

Monitors have less lag but TV's are better for splitscreen and such. Also I think you should get a 720p since that is the resolution the xbox one mostly runs games on. It will save you money as well.

ive played on my 1080p tv and my 1080i pc monitor and the only thing i noticed was the refresh rate for the monitor was significantly faster than the tv i like playing on my tv because of the size of my tv cant wait for the xbox one 7 more days
