same! its so annoying hearing it in-game. I have 1665 squad points I don't need anymore wish I could stop it somehow :/

Remove last cod update from hard drive and launch game. When prompted on the 104mb update. Install. And bam! No more infection.

I thought at this point everyone knew how lol. It's not really an infection the game is just giving you all the points you wouldve gotten if you didn't skip so many levels at once so the game is giving you what you would've gotten anyway. Just play safegaurd infinite on squads cause you get a squad point every second and eventually your infection will wear off
