A hacker is someone who seeks and exploits weaknesses in a computer system or computer network.

A mod or modification is the alteration of the program code of a video game in order to make it operate in a manner different to its original version.

Ghosts has been modded, not hacked. Script kiddies.

The game seems like a lot of people have hacked it, I just haven't been unlucky enough to randomly get in a lobby.

ACTUALLY... hackers and hacking is shutting down peoples, internet and stealing accounts.
Modding and modders is changing the coding of a game.
Glitching and glichers are doing exploits on purpose.

"hacker = illegal" False, Hacking is actually the modification or complete rewrite or injection of code into a program to change its function or improve it thus.

The word you're looking for was "Cracker," being an hacker who breaks the law. No hacker breaks the law, only crackers do. Being that mass media is generally uninformed on the jargon used by groups they report on, mass media came to call anyone who goes against the original compiling of a program a "hacker" and though incorrect the populace was more easily able to understand the term as it is not affiliated with any ethnic group, where as "cracker" has come to be known as being.

History lesson over, and btw; you can read up on where hacking started and find all the same facts. If you want a good read i highly suggest a copy of "Hacking: The Art of Exploitation" it does not tell you how to break the law or to go out and do so as blatantly as any cracker out there, but it does tell you a good story, the origins of hacking, and teaches you a lot about computing and networks.

th or so game i got into and Xp Lobby and got blown up by a barrel and now im 3 rd prestige when I was 2nd

Thats why I'm not continuing to play until i get my xbox one
