I think when people are saying that our generation is "messed up", they're implying that out generation of people are ones that are dependent on technology. I have to admit, hearing that our generation,compared to others, is known as a "messed up" generation is quite insulting. But next time you go outside, have a look around and see how many people you can find that actually aren't using some form of modern technology. There aren't many.

I do agree every generation is messed up.

But what I think it is is that the people before our generation was messed up for a different reason.

So they think ours is worse then theirs.

I'm not saying ours is golden, it's just different problems from a different time.

Exactly Scribble, Mind reader here, although saying ''swag'' and relying on our parents, is a lot better then torturing people everyday because of their religion and girls being nothing but slaves, no one being equal is worse in my eyes.

Our generation may not be as bad as past generations, but that doesn't mean our generation isn't terrible. We should never compare our generation with past ones. It would make it seem like you settle for what we have. We should never settle with our society. If we have problems, let's speak up about them and fix them. We may not be as torturous as we used to be, but we still are pretty terrible. We are (generally speaking) lazy, self-entitled, rude, murderous, and greedy (among some other things.) We need to acknowledge that and fix it to the best of our abilities.
