Overclocking isn't even fun anymore with these stupidly easy bios. Anybody and their cat can overclock these days. Just buy the CPU that fits your price range and performs best.

I agree, its not hard at all. But I do find it entertaining, and anything to get the young'uns into the working of computers gets a good mark from me.

Agree'd but I still do find it fun getting the highest oc at a lowest voltages.

As Craig- has said it is luck of the draw on OC, but the way to go is either the AMD FX series or the Intel K series. Also make sure you have sufficient cooling as OCing causes a lot of heat output. I would recommend a Corsair H100i for cooling. Good luck with the OC!
