I had bullets flying past me during Marine Combat Training.

It's a "training exercise" they said, it'll be fun they said.

Scariest thing ever having bullets wizzing past you.

I had my appendix burst. That wasn't any fun at all. Got through it though. Doc said it burst a bit earlier than usual which meant there wasn't as much infection. My uncle died from a burst appendix a few years earlier so it was really scary for me being the age of 11.

I haven't had anything as serious as a near death experience but I had a really bad concussion. It resulted me going temporarily blind and losing memory of that day.

Have you guys ever had any near death experiences in your life? I am interested to see other peoples answers.

My Story:

My close to death story was when I was on a public bus that had crashed into a moving train. There were a few people killed in the collision, and I still haven't been able to go back on a bus since.

yes, i have had many. i am a type 1 diabetic there have been many times i have passed out from low blood sugar and woke up in the hospital and have almost died. i hate that im diabetic but thats life and the life ive learned to live

My worse; I went to Europe in July and one day we were in Naples, Italy. I cant directly explain in detail, but roads going around the Amalfi Coast are hundreds of feet high and straight down to rocks/ocean below. The roads arent very wide. Probably just enough for two decent sized cars (European cars are alot smaller too) to pass by with minimal room. Well, we were on a private tour and we came to a sharp, blind, turn and as we turned a big ass tour bus came around as well and didnt even see us. Our tour guide like swerved to avoid being hit and we slammed into the little concrete barrier going about 20/30 MPH. Doesnt seem to bad until we got out and noticed we were 400 feet up from jagged rocks... Scariest thing of my life.

IIGIFTGOLD wrote My nearest near death experience was when I was very young. Was out on rollerblades with some mates and I decided to take them over a huge puddle by the car wash. Unknown to me was that the manhole covers had been taken off couldn't see this through the murky water, next thing you know I am up to my neck in water as I just managed to grab the side. My mates pulled me out and that was that.

Dat grammar doe.

No but really, that sounds freaky man! Glad you made it out safe.

wolfzy wrote got hit by a car like 3 years ago at about 40mph, nothing too bad from the actual impact but i rolled off the top of the car when it hit me and landed head first, didn't do much to me in all fairness though, scratches, bruises, dislocated knee... the guys car was in worse shape than me...

That sucks man. Getting hit by car must hurt.

I had a similar story.
I drowned and was under the water for almost more than a minute. It felt like I could breathe underwater. I was slowly fainting and my uncle pulled me up. I never told anyone about this.
