The xbox can run games at 1080p at 60 fps, sure maybe not on this years cod but most likely later. Both console are nearly identical, except the ps4 can cook steaks pretty damn good with its built in power supply.

ahh whatever just choose the console you grew up with i grew up with the Xbox.
I do want the ps4 will probably get that 2nd after the Xbox one,
i do think that the ps4 dose have better exclusives but at the same time it depends what your friends are getting.
My friends are getting the Xbox one so im getting it the main thing is what your friends are getting so you don't go online and play by yourself because that is the most boring thing ever is to be a Xbox player know all your friends and switch over to ps4 and know no one and have to find new people to play with.
Also yes the ps4 is more powerful in black and white BUT real time performances it practically looks the same.
So just go with the console your most comfortable with. If you ps4 fans want to throw punches at the Xbox here is a win for xbox one compared to ps4.

You guys act like the xbox one is god lol. It's not even out yet. I can guarantee it will have issues, just like the ps4. Get whatever one you want, you'd think half of TTG is on Microsofts payroll the way they talk about the xbox lol

My ps4 works perfectly fine, not hot at all. I love how everyone is giving the ps4 crap for having a .4 percent failure rate, while the xbox 360 had nearly a 50% failure rate. Most of us in this forum had xbox 360's so you cant really talk about bad about ps4 failure rate.

True.. I think it is all about where your friend group decides to go to. But honestly I was always in for Xbox, then all my friends told me they wanted PS4.. So I was planning on gettin the PS4 for about a week.. Then I said to all of them I don't care where they go anymore, xbox looks so much better.. And luckily they all followed me after watching these videos.

It is mostly due to Sony making games mandatory 1080p, everyone thinks nextgen is just 1080p 60FPS.

Microsoft are allowing developers to pick their resolution (they learned this from the Xbox 360 launch).

Sony are doing what Microsoft done at the launch of the 360, dictate what developers must do. Sony tells them 1080p minimum, even if the game suffers blurry graphics or FPS drops, it doesn't matter, as you can see in the Battlefield 4 comparison video. If the resolution is 1080p thats all people are look at right now.

If you're wondering why Microsoft made it mandatory for developers to have games at 720p 2xAA, they learned the hard way it's not always possible or consumers suffer.

I feel sorry for the developers that can't hit 1080p on the PS4 since Sony won't be happy.

In my opinion, Microsoft are doing it right, yeah I want larger numbers but I also want a game that looks sexy & has loads of stuff happening all over the place, if 1080p doesn't allow that then I don't want it.

That makes a lot of sense to me.. Let them choose their own resolution. PlayStation is doing the wrong thing/mistake as you said by forcing 1080p. As did Xbox 360 like you also said.. Thanks for the information! Always need more to argue with my friends about which console! Hahahaha

It's all the hype that is the fun part.. I bet if you were an Xbox Fan and looked at the PS4 section you would be disgusted! It is the same thing. And Honestly I am a little when I am getting both consoles but they're so many more benefits with the xbox than the PS4. i will be playing my Xbox 98% of the time.

Okay first of all.. .4% failure rate? What forums are you reading? Don't just read from here because this is not professional at all unless copy and pasted with a source. And that is most likely not even right. Try that the PS4 has had almost 20% failure rate.. I think it was 17 or 18 to be specific. Some of the consoles shipping out (PS4s) their HDMI ports didn't work, USB ports broken, system updates that were not complete and bricked the system, and about 5% of these breaks, are from all the consoles given away from Taco bell.. **** taco bell lol! And if you are looking for people to support your PS4, this isn't necessarily the forum to be in :/ But Xbox has just easily outdone the PlayStation. That's all that can be said

There you go, dont go complaining about its failure rate when most of our console of choice (and superior last gen console) was the xbox 360, was around 50%.

Im saying that this is actually a solid launch for new hardware, it happens with everything, ex: iphone launches.
I guess considering the xbox one hasnt launched, it has "just outdone playstation".
