Noe i know its would be easier to just gp buy an xbox hdd, buy i wanted to know if there was a way to make the xbox think that my usb hdd is an xbox one and not an MU, as i have got a 40gb usb configured to work as a MU, but i csnt play battlefield 4 as it needs an Xbox hd to install the 2gb hd file, and it won t do it on the usb.

Any help would be appreciated.

Nah, there isn't a way to make the USB look like a HDD. It happens to me all the time and it pisses me off, so I went and bought a 20GB HDD.

EDIT: You could probably do some soldering, but that would be pretty drastic...haha.
