After the Pre-ordered Xbox's are shipped, do you know when stores will have them back in store?

That's usually up to the Retailer and when they order them.

just wondering if you think well be able to customize the xbox one, as in paint it, put lights in it, basically mod but not for online modding, just the look of it. i know it would void the warranty but i would love to know

It all has to do with the player. It does void warranty... But if you've got the ambition and materials, go crazy!
