They fake it because:

#1: They want attention
#2: They want money or +rep
#3: They're scum

It's because people are immature and want to spam their friends.

It is kind of funny to spam to your friend but annoying on here for sure and a waste of time I think they should change the rules to no proof 7 day ban and again its permanent ip ban or something may seem a little harsh but it is very annoying I don't look for lobbies anyways because I really do host but when I used to... They should make it to where only people who can make a topic in that section is verified people like host a lobby for one of the ttg admins or someone else who works with them on this site to get verified that'll help a lot of scamming from msp and other things too

Not much of spamming their friend.
More of spamming someone else because they got killed by someone better than them.

Because most of them are trying to gain subscribers, views, or scam people for money.

That would take so much time for the staff to go into every single "Lobby" that could be fake or real. And maybe they dont want their stats boosted or anything?

Me and millerbrother48 use to host almost every day spent around $1,000 on all the stuff to host online lobbies and what do we have to show for it not a thing. I don't see why anyone would pay to host free lobbys.

It's not like staff was never in our lobbies we had four staff vouches on the post.

Basically what I am saying is if you want a lobby pay the sticky that is the only true way to get a lobby for sure.

I honestly really agree with what you're saying. The people who are legitimate shouldn't be drowned. There isn't really anyway around the matter though because the amount of time for staff to do this isn't worth the outcome
