My xbox 360 has disc tray error, normally it will eventually read the games if I continually open and close the disc tray now it won't work at all, does anyone have any suggestions that does not include sending it away or buying a new disc drive?

So are you telling me the disc tray or the games wont read?
If disc tray:
-I had to forcefully open the disc tray with a butter knife, mine use to get wedged. I now have a new xbox.
-Also you could take apart the xbox, Would not recommend it, that way you dont need to touch the disk drive.
If games are not reading:
-Make sure they are not deeply scratched.
-Try airbrushing the xbox, it may be dusty. That happened to me before.
-The laser might me off or dusty as well. I took apart my xbox and cleaned it, Do not recommend it as you can not sell it.
