I have a HP Envy phoenix desktop and i installed windows 8.1, after it reboot it it wont go
past the blue circle "HP" logo, i have tried going into the BIOS pressing the esc key, it tells me to press it again to load into the settings to run a restore, but that wont load, i have also tried a windows 8 disk i pirated and tried to press the repair function, but it still loads the blue "HP" logo and not the disk, please ideas?

Sounds like your OS files may be corrupt. Insert the install disc and boot from it. Format your HDD and try reinstalling the OS. If that doesn't work try using a different download.

I guess you may have a partition error like me, I heard that formatting your partition will fix this, To do this. Boot your PC using your Windows installation disk or get a torrented version if you do not own one and when the setup is open, Press Install now and it will list a list of partitions, Press your main partition and there will be a few options, Choose "Format" then restart your computer and try to install Windows 7/8 again.

Did you burn your own disk? If so, it could have corrupted files. If so, what speed did you write at?
