I have been looking at Dre Beat Mixrs, I have used them before and they were really good in my opinion, just wondering if anyone has any better suggestions?

I would go with studio beats the best bang for the buck.

honestly, looking for headphones for myself too
the beats range is probably what i was gonna get until like a couple of days ago.
reality is, its just an image, i knew that before but for the price and the quality its really not worth it
real people that work in studios who obv will want to hear the music at its best use audio technica...
just search it but i recommend either audio technica or beats, im gonna get one or the other and i admit the beats cos the new solo 2.0/studio 2.0 in matte black is amazing.

Dont buy Beats. Unless you like paying way more for garbage then its worth. Their overpriced sub par headphones that people only buy for the image. Want a good pair of headphones, look up Sol Republic's. Their Tracks HD model are an amazing pair of heaphones for the price.

I believe these have good reviews and are better than the overrated 'beats! Range..

"Yes, they say fanny. And wang. Got it out of your system yet? Well wait

Despite the companys less-than-serious name, Fanny Wang has turned out some pretty decent pairs of headphones in the past. We gave its On Ear Wangs a solid four stars back in September 2011s headphones megatest, and the Fanny Wang 1000s missed out on a fourth star only due to a slight lack of dynamism."

"Fanny Wang 3000 ANC review: Design
The Fanny Wang 3000 ANCs are the companys top-of-the-range cans, but we arent too impressed with their build quality. The headband is good and sturdy but the earcups look and feel a little cheap and the cover for the twin AAA batteries on our review sample felt like it would fall open if jolted.

We arent blown away by their fit, either. Every head shape is different, obviously, but a few members of the team complained that the seal wasnt as good as it could be at the bottom of the ears, while others found them a little tight.

Fanny Wang 3000 ANC review: Sound quality
When it comes to blocking out the din, the Over Ear Wangs are reasonable, but nowhere near the standard set by the likes of the Bose QuietComfort 15. They are low on hiss, though.

In use the Wangs character is very boxy-sounding. Its all bright treble and honking midrange not particularly pleasant to listen to. Switching the cans to bass boost mode doesnt help, either it serves only to make the sound even more boomy and sluggish, but still with that grating, strident treble.

Turn the noise-cancelling off and the sound folds itself in around the edges and accentuates that midrange character.

Fanny Wang 3000 ANC review: Verdict
Good points? Theres admittedly a reasonable amount of detail on offer in noise-cancelling mode, and dynamic shifts are handled quite nicely but its just all too muddled to make proper sense of. You can do far better, for less money, elsewhere."

Ok I thought they had great reviews.. But hey, it's what you make of it.

I personally own a pair of the new Beats By Dre Studios. They are exceptional headphones and produce stellar quality. Dot listen to people who say they aren't worth the money, they're really saying they can't afford them. However, if you cannot afford Beats By Dre, Ludacris's company 'Soul' also has nice headphones.

Dr Dre headphones are way too overrated. If I were you, I would go with Skull Candy headphone. The reason being, they are high/great quality, and they're cheaper than Beats. Although there are some Skull Candy head phones that are expensive, there are some cheaper than other - browse a little.
