What does the top of the DVD drive say? It looks like any slim MFR'd after July is a DG-16D4S but with FW type 0225 so just be careful! Hope this helped

So ur saying for me to know if its flashable I have to open the slim and look at disc drive?? Isnt there a MFD for slims that is only able to become flash?? What im trying to say is I cant just buy a new xbox 360 and flash it it has to be an older MFD right? because i have a friend he has a HALO reach limited ed xbox 250gb ima buy off him & I wanna flash the disc drive once i get but i want to make sure its flashable.. I think so though cuz halo reach is a older game so prob older xbox too.. Im kinda a noobie this with thats why im asking TTG for help for a simple question most people know.

I'm not a complete "master" myself, but I was able to figure out which drive I had by opening my xbox up, and checking for myself. It wasn't as difficult as it may seem; however I used this person's post. It really helped, I hope it helps you! [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
