barly got the xbox today and it starting making this noise

That sucks is the console on a flat surface?

That sounds like its the fan at the front seen above this could be a sign that its failing if it does fail the system will overheat and stop working.

If i was you i would contact xbox support and get a replacement system.

well by looking at some disassemble videos the fan sits on top of the heatsink but cant actually hit the heatsink but it has a gap on the fan plastic
