But he made it quite obvious he was boosting. Look at his game history, over 3 pages of nothing but mission 3, which means he was restarting the mission and not the checkpoint lol

Lol. kids need to think before they post that stuff on bungie

kinda his fault, dont get me wrong boosting doesnt bother me but when it turns in to something like him it is messed up, boost a couple of times but now 5000 kills with the target locator in 1 mission that was re-played 400 odd times

Yea it is pretty dumb how they are resetting people and the only way to get credits for buying stuff is doing that cause you earn credits so slow and every thing cost so much!!!!!!

Yeah i just wanted to warn people to not do it to much or you will be targeted by them ass wholes thaat give only 50 points for like 8 hours on forge yada yada.

If you would of read the thread you would notice the Bungie employees who posted that he got banned for "automation". Meaning he hooked up his controller to his computer and ran a script that did the boosting for him, he wasn't actually present during his boosting sessions.

They also reiterated that you WILL NOT get banned for the ONI Sword Base boosting and the Firefight boosting as long as YOU are the one doing them, not a script.

Do something too much, and you get flagged. Do something way too much, and that flag becomes a notice. Do something so excessively that there is no way beyond all reasonable doubt that you weren't exploiting the system, and Bungie's monitors (which have already been watching you) will come down and give you the nutshot of your life.

The person who mods his Gamerscore to 30k doesn't get banned.
The 8-year old who takes it too far and adds in 50 GPDs and mods it to 100k gets banned.

Bungie operates the same way. Exploit a little, whatever. They have bigger fish to fry. Exploit enough to become one of those big fish, well, you're in for a shit storm.
