I have a monitor with a resolution of 1680x1050 and it it has 2 dead pixels at the top and i have AMD Radeon HD 7770. Which should i upgrade first?

What are your other system specifications?

It will really be up to you, if you find gameplay alright, but hate the screen then there is your choice.

If you think you'd rather have better gameplay performance then you may want a new card, but you might need a new power supply depending on the one you have right now.

I would upgrade the GPU to a MSI 270X HAWK. And use the left over 30GBP to save for a monitor.

Dead pixels are annoying, but it makes no difference to game play.

I would get a gpu, rather play smoothly than have lag on a mint monitor!

If you don't mind the pixel problem then definatly upgrade the GPU, even to an R9 270x, the 7770 is a horrible card (I had to put up with it for a couple of months) so you should get that changed however, if those pixels do annoy you then buy a 100 pound monitor, save up the rest.

The 7770 is far from a terrible card, it's what I'd recommend for under 100GBP.

If you want a way of getting both, do this.

LG 24" IPS Monitor
Crossfire the 7770.

It scales so well you probably will double in every played game. The 7770 is a truly awesome card, and regret selling mine.

When I had it, if I tried putting BF4 on ultra I'd get 25 FPS max :/

Well that's just being silly. Of course you can't max games like BF4 on a 80 quid card. Even thinking you can is silly. The 7770 is a great ENTRY level card, for gamers who don't care about graphical quality but want to play on the superior platform.

If you Xfire the 7770, I bet you you'll get 50+ FPS on BF4 Ultra.

I was messing. I am a graphics quality guy so the graphics did matter to me, probably why I dislike it so much.
