I think that's what you meant, you were not that clear.
Never mind, don't use this, I didn't see some things, so screw it I'm lazy.

You times it by what's on the other side i.e 1:9 = 10x9 = 90

i will do the first 2,
1. 1+2 = 3 parts
12 / 3 = 4
1 x 4 = 4
2 x = 8
4:8
2. 1 + 3 = 4 parts
40 / 4 = 10
1 x 10 = 10
3 x 10 = 30
= 10:30
1. 1+2 = 3 parts
12 / 3 = 4
1 x 4 = 4
2 x = 8
4:8
2. 1 + 3 = 4 parts
40 / 4 = 10
1 x 10 = 10
3 x 10 = 30
= 10:30

You add the ratio together, for example 1:3 = 1+3=4
Then divide the first number by the added ratio.
Once you have that number you times that number by the original ratio 1:3
E.g.
20 in the ratio 2:3
2+3 = 5
20/5= 4
4x2
4x3
Then you have your ratio
