American carrier battle group and a flotilla of Japanese warships will arrive Wednesday near a vast stretch of ocean claimed by China in what is shaping up as a test of how Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and the USA will stand up to the challenge.

This is just posturing by China. The bad blood between China and Japan goes back centuries, not just to the atrocities by the Imperial Japanese Army in WWII. China will test American resolve until we push back. When we push back, they will do something to attempt to save face and then let it go. The People's Liberation Army is no match for the US Navy. China knows that and will act accordingly.

well than again for about a month now China believes its navy can retaliate quote from yahoo "China appears to feel that its naval buildup has progressed sufficiently to allow it to retaliate against the US naval presence"

I heard our air force had pilots fly through the restricted airspace over this part of "China's" water. I guess we are testing them like previous posters said because the Air Force pilots were told to continue flying and disregard any Chinese communication to them.

EDIT: Here's the article about the the planes flying over the restricted space.

China and Japan have had blood shed feuds frequently in the past. They don't get along very well.

Well, wise one, you're in their territory with a fleet.

If you look closely at the PLA, you see that there's 2.285M of these motherf*ckers, that's 600 thousand men more than the USA has in total.

Not to forget, i'm very sure that if China throws a '**** you, we ain't exporting our stuff anymore' at the USA you'll drawback even quicker than you'd do in a fight.

No offense, but China is not to be f*cked with in my eyes, these people would rather die in honour for their country than lose to you, there's 1.8 billion of them too. I dare you to f*ck with them, for real.
