China don't want it, you're right that out number us by allot but we have newer war technology than china and US solders (including myself) are trained harder than the Chinese if you ask me.

The military forces of either superpower is irrelevant. China will never attack an American vessel.

China's economy relies on America, not only are the Americans in debt to the Chinese, but the Chinese market is driven by American demand.

The United States routinely flies into airspace that China claims as their own, but not internationally recognized. That's a fairly simple action to keep China in their own place in the international community. It is also a fairly similar example as to what is happening right now.

As for fighting capability, though, China doesn't stand close to America despite their population. 1.8 billion people doesn't mean shit when the vast majority aren't combat ready, trained, or in any way fit for service.

The United States has 10 Aircraft Carriers in service, as opposed to China which only has 1. Japan has more aircraft carriers than China, standing in at 2. Army size doesn't matter when you can't get them to the battlefield, and is China just planning on doing long-range bombing runs to the US?
