I am thinking about getting an iPad 2 for Christmas but I don't don't know whether they are actually worth the money?
Opinions would be appreciated

It's just a handy device to have lying around the house, if you need to quickly get on the Internet, or just watch a few YouTube videos.

Comes in handy sometimes.

I have a few, and had no problems with iPads.

I do not have one nor do I have any tablet, but I believe they are overpriced. I own a Macbook (so I do like Apple). But I believe Microsoft's Surface Pro 2 (make sure you dont get the Surface RT) is better. I don't like iPads never have. Friends had them I just don't see the value in them.

If you can get a cheap one go ahead but if you are paying full price, I would suggest buying a the laptop that has a detachable screen which ends up being a tablet, pretty sure it is a Dell.

i have a ipad and i love mine i use it everday for music and games btw try the app music tube you can get free music by downloading it to your device from youtube and listen to it with out internet later and because its youtube download its not illegal.

I enjoy mine I jailbroke it perfect for movies etc.
