I would like to start this topic off stating that I am not an Xbox fanboy, if anything I'm in between xbox and ps and probably slightly biased towards playstation. I've had Playstations my whole life and put many fun-filled hours in the PS3. I was so excited to get a PS4, I was excited for a new User Interface, quicker loading screens, party chat, and amazing graphics.

When I got my PS4 i found all those above said details within the PS4. However, it didn't feel like enough.
The new user interface is nice and simple, but boring. When I turn on my PS4, I almost get this lonely feeling; I don't feel connected to the world from the PS4's menu. I honestly feel like the PS4's interface is like an organized PS3 UI, there's nothing new to it.

The loading screens and overall "speed performance" Impressed me at first. But every once in a while (at least once a day) my PS4 will lag while multitasking from a game to the PS4 home menu. Considering that the PS4 just got released, I am not terribly worried about this problem. But i would like the mention something about the Multitasking...
Contrary to popular belief, there really isn't any multitasking at all. When I am sitting in a pre game lobby and press the PS button to access the Home menu, the translation is great, but I find that if i want to use any other application than the one im using (Ghosts) I have to quit it (Ghosts). This is something that has impressed me about the Xbox One, how you can watch netflix and play video games at the same time on the same screen.
Once again, not an Xbox fanboy. Just stating what is going through my mind right now.

Moving on to Party Chat. I love it and its abilities. But then I remember that xbox 360 had this a while ago, and from my experience with PS4 party chat, there is not much more (if any at all) that PS4 party chat can do compared to Xbox 360's.

Graphics, the only thing about the PS4 that doesn't bother me. They are amazing, I couldn't stop smiling the first game of Cod Ghosts I play because I was so unhappy with the crappy PS3 graphics Infinity Ward gave Ghosts.

So if anyone has stuck with reading this full out; please convince me to keep my PS4. Maybe I am missing something or forgetting something. As of now, I am leaning towards selling my PS4 and getting an Xbone. My view on the Xbone is that it would give me that connected user interface feeling, better multitasking performance, better launch games, and voice commands to control my experience.

I am well aware that people are going to comment on this and cuss at me and tell me to "GTFO Fanboy" but please be mature about this. Let me reassure you that I am not a fanboy of any console, I an just interested in getting myself the best console experience for ME. If you have points to argue against something I have said, please say them!

Well dude to be honest it is your choice. If you have to have someone convince you to keep it then you probably shouldn't choose to keep it anyway. I think that you tried something out and it wasn't up to your expectations. Simple as that. Move on to something else and hopefully whatever you choose will fit you better. Good luck.

It's your decision no-one should force you to keep it. If you want to get rid of it then get rid of it.

Well. It seems to me you would like to get the Xbox for its features(mostly) that it has over the PS4. I say go for it!

I say go for the xbox, I have played both consoles but it seems that the xbox has a lot more features and the graphics are as good as the ps4.

Honestly I say keep it. The PS4 will get more features over time and when it does, you will regret selling it. I had this same thought. I went over to a friends house and tried his Xbox One, I loved all the features that is had, but after a couple hours I felt the same way about it as I did the PS4. I think we are all feeling this way because we all expected more from the next gen.

Long story short, keep the PS4. It will get more features over time and will always have better graphics and be more powerful
