As I am sure many of you know, there seems to be a major issue using the xbox one in the UK connecting a sky box to the HDMI in socket of the XB1. I was going to buy and XB1 until I read about this, has anyone heard of any fix (not workaround as to me that's not a fix).

I think if Microsoft can not resolve this issue it will be the PS4 for me!

Microsoft are working on a fix it's due to it being 50Hz in Europe and 60Hz in the US.

I have not read any official comment from MS and I have to wonder how they can "fix" this as is this not a hardware issue more than a software issue!

They should fix it just before Christmas with other issues but some people don't experience it even on 50Hz.

Yes I have read some do not experience, even tho I do plan to get both systems at some stage, 450 is still a big gamble on the chance that I don't get the issue! Let's hope that MS can fix it, I just dont see how they will be able to. at least not without the loss of other features or picture quality.
