Twelve-year-old Liam Derbyshire has been beating the odds - and cheating death - for his entire life.
When he was an infant, doctors told Liams parents that the boy probably wouldnt make it past six weeks because he was born with a rare condition called central hypoventilation, which makes it impossible for him to draw a breath automatically. That means that when he nods off, he could stop breathing.
So, each night Liams parents hook him up to a respirator that breathes for him once he drops off to sleep.
You go from having a child who you believe to be normal when he is born to suddenly realizing that he has quite a catastrophic condition, his mother, Kim Derbyshire, told TODAY.

Nope as others have said i wake up right before that part.

Like many others, I just wake up as soon as I 'die'. Sometimes I am sweating and/or breathing heavy when I wake up.

I too have had many dreams like that but I wake up right before I die..

I remember when I was on holiday in Orlando, Florida, I swam with sharks and when I got back to the villa we were renting I dreamt that I was taken by a shark. In the dream I remember it grabbing me by the legs and it ripped me in half. I woke up drenched in sweat (so much it looked like I had actually been in water) and below my knees I couldn't feel my legs and from the knees up I had very bad pins and needles...dreams really are freaky!

I have died plenty of times but i don't know how to explain how it happend

I always get bad dreams and there is this one I used to get when I was a lot younger were I was walking my dog along a cliff and then suddenly it would run towards the edge of the cliff with me holding the lead and jump off. I swear I got this dream every time and I'm pretty sure I died in it idk. The other night I had a weird dream were I was a soldier in vietnam.
