Ok so I just bought a 360 today and ghost with it, I'm coming from ps3 and everyone's mic has a x through it? What does it mean?

why would you buy a 360 when next gen just came out

You probably have family settings on that automatically mute everybody. To turn them off go under family settings and change them so that you can talk with other players.

Scroll to their name and then click it with A and then scroll to unmute and hit A

the X means that the other players are muted.

To fix the settings do the following


Open "My Xbox" then choose "System Settings." Select "Family Settings" and then "Console Controls."

Choose the "Family Settings" to manually configure. Options include "Game Ratings," "Video Ratings," "Xbox LIVE Access," "Xbox LIVE Membership Creation," "Restricted Content," "Family Timer" and "Set Pass Code."

Save your changes and exit.

Remove "Family Settings"

Open "My Xbox" and then choose "System Settings."

Select "Family Settings" and then "Console Controls."

Choose "Turn Off Family Settings," then save and exi
