Well, you are going to need either a CK3 Pro, CK3 I, or a CK3 Mini, I myself have the mini, because I found that near my location, it was the cheapest one for me. So I got that, and have been flashing drives ever since. Not one bad flash, not one bad drive. No fails ever, no errors. Only costed me about 15$ for the CK3 Mini. I found it on e-bay, try looking there and hopefully you can find a decent deal like me.

I'm new to this kind of stuff.......but I think I saw someone onetime download the software to a laptop and plugged in a ethernet cable to the drive and flashed it that way......but I would listen to the other guy he looks like he knows a lot about this kind of stuff

via chipset 6421a will cost around 6 and thats all unless its a liteon which requires something like a needle or a screwdriver to use as a probe. Basically this is the cheapest way.

i just used the screwdriver as the probe, and used the xbox for power. you just need to get a power switch. look up a video on how to make a probe.

Thats how I flashed mine and it worked fine. The probe can be made of anything metal with a small point just get a piece of wire and connect 1 end to the "probe" and the other to the metal case of the 360.
