Well I came home Tuesday from class and I noticed my Xbox was on and my disc tray was out.. I tried shutting it and it kept opening. Today i took it apart and it didn't look like anything was wrong. Has anyone else have this problem?

Edit*
First Xbox

Second Xbox

I have the same problem sometimes bro, it's the laser going bad inside the xbox you might need to replace it, I haven't got mine replaced but when my disc drive doesn't open i get like a hard card and shove it in the disc thing and kind of apply force to come out and it works fine like that as well.

When you shut it, do you feel the motor pushing back against you? If so, then there may be a problem with the limit switches in the drive. If not, there are multiple possibilities, all would require you to disassemble the xbox and drive to fix though.

Yes! Now its not wanting to push the disc tray out.. I would love for you to show me how to fix it. I have all the tools to take it apart.
