They stack up completely different. The pcpartpicker build has an aftermarket heatsink which is required for overclocking (The 8350 is overclockable) and the pre-built does not. The pre-built also has no SSD(Solid state Drive), which is essential for faster boot speeds. The pre-built is a total waste of money.

Do you think I should go for the pre-built as i'm not overclocking to save time? just get one with an ssd as my budget can stretch to 750?

The pre-built is still over priced. The case is not quality, the power supply can be changed, and the heatsink and thermal paste can be removed from the build to drop the price. The 16gb RAM is really overkill, so the pcpartpicker build is still better. I also changed it around. I improved performance while keeping the price below the pre-built.

Why custom is better-
market cooler, also dont think you need that paste not sure, i think your MOBO is better, Ram is better, SSD is better you most likely wont need the 2tb, Nice choice on GPU i have the same, your case is better, also same PSU alot of the stuff you picked is better
