I'm downloading cod ghost with terrible than normal internet with .5Mbps and was wondering that even if I have a disc, do I have to download all 39.5 GB of it with my internet?

There is a mandatory install on all games, whether it is the full game or not I do not know, 39 GB goes faster than 360 did by a mile but still takes time. I have good internet and the Battlefield 4 download took about 25 minutes for me. I think that was almost 40 GB.

We'll I've been downloading for 8 hours now, and it still has not moved from 0% did I do something wrong?

I would try and reset your system because that makes no sense as to why it would take so long.

how does installing a game require a fast internet speed? are you all delusional? you're not downloading anything, you're putting the disk in and installing it...

I believe it also installs all the updates for the game at the same time, that is why you require the internet connection. That's just what I've read though.
