The new AMD cards are OPTIMIZED for BF4. wow...
Really then why do they recommend the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 3GB?

The GTX 660 is only recommended for the Nvidia brand line, it also recommends AMD cards as well.......

I am no PC parts expert like some of the people on this site so hopefully someone can further address me on this suggestion.
But I think you might want a larger power supply like a 750w that is just my personal opinion again like I said I am no expert.

He'll definitely be fine with a 500w PSU. Maybe not that one, but a 500w PSU will do fine for him.

Im sorry you need to get an education on computer parts before you come in here saying AMD Suck.
There the best bang for buck CPU'S And GPU'S Out there.
Infact the new AMD R9290X Is so good nvidia had to lower the price of the gtx780 as the amd could pass it in performance.
Plues you name a Nvidia GPU That can run BF4 Ultra at 40fps for $200 cause AMD has one.

The R9 290x is a good card, but the reference design and cooler suck. It can reach high temps easily.

I do give that one that it does but asus and Msi are going to bring out versions with much better cooling.
