I wanted to know how big should my monitor/tv should be?
I want to put it on my desk so it's like 5 ft away from me so how big should it be?

5 ft away not very far dude. The bigger the screen and closer you are, the quicker your eye sight becomes crap! So id say 20-23" monitor ;)

5 feet sounds pretty far...

depends what for, is it going to serve as a pc monitor, or just console gaming/tv? if pc, get 2 monitors, split, 21-24 inches. if console gaming/tv, go crazy, don't listen to spoilt brats telling you bigger is better, i'd say anywhere from 32-46 inches depending on your budget and person preference, just look around.

It's going to sit on my desk and I am mainly going to use it for my Xbox. What would you recommend? And don't have a big budget only like 200 dollars next week maybe 275.00

And I just measured so it's 3 ft away from me so what do you recommend?
