you can't sell your soul to someone who doesnt exist. And usually people use that "sold his soul to the devil" as a figure of speech.
IMO you'd have to be pretty dumb to think someone actually sold their soul to the "devil".

I would never sell my soul but i find it interesting to learn about. I've heard of it being done, and how to do it, but it's just too far out there for me to ever consider doing.

You can do no such thing no matter how much you try. Sorry, you've been misled.

You cannot sell your soul to the devil. Think about it, If some famous artists sold their soul to the devil (For money, power, fame, ect.) Don't you think millions of people would as well? Let's face it... Everybody loves money! I couldn't deal with being powerful or famous, but I would sure love to have a Ferrari in my garage!
In my opinion, if selling your soul to the devil made you rich or famous, there would be zero poverty.

I tried selling my soul to the Gold & Silver pawnshop. Rick told me that he has to call his buddy who is an expert on souls. Coincidentally, the Grim Reaper appeared and stated that my soul is worth nothing. Rick refused to make an offer on it. Oh well, I might as well keep it.

Selling your soul to the devil can easily be interpreted as selling your soul to the guy with the connection, many people become famous through their connections, they could possibly just be signing a contract with the man who funds them, identifies them to the world for the price of their slave labour.

You have a good point but not entirely true.
I know for a fact a lot of people won't sell their souls the devils because they believe in god. May not seem like it but there is a lot of firm believer world wide.
Long story short, People would rather die to keep there faith and soul intact then sell there soul to the devil.
For me, I believe in this, and i wouldn't, i would rather fall to my knees knowing my faith is intact then give in to the devil. But again this is entirely all my option.

Valid point! I didn't really take that into consideration.
Thanks

Firstly, selling your soul isn't a Christian teaching, it was originally a Pagan one, it was only Christianized with the legend of Theophilus, who was supposed to have gained his place as Bishop through a pact with the Devil.
Also, it's quite ironic that a lot of Christians say that you can sell your soul to the devil.
Many don't actually stop to think what the soul is.
Christian teaching would go completely against this because your soul isn't yours to sell.
It belongs to God, and only he can decide what to do with it, that's why it's seen as separate from the body.
If you could sell your soul to the Devil, it would undermine God's power of judgement over you during the rapture.
In a hypothetical situation, if you've sold your soul to the devil but led a sinless life, when it comes to the rapture, God would probably want you in Heaven, but the Devil would already have the power of your soul over him which isn't really possible considering that God is the creator and Satan is the creation.
Also, in a deontological sense, Sin is absolute, once a person sins their soul is doomed to Hell anyway.
Satan would have nothing to gain by pretending to buy your soul in exchange for something.
So, not just because I think the idea is absolutely ludicrous, but theologically, it doesn't even hold up.
