So I'm planning on upgrading my computer and I'm buying a new GPU on Cyber Monday. My Budget is around $400 maybe a bit more.
How can I check if my power supply can handle my new GPU and if I need a new power supply?
I'm planning on using SLI also so I want something SLI ready.
Right now I have:
EVGA GeForce GTX 550 Ti 01G-P3-1556-KR Video Card
16 GB RAM
AMD FD6100WMGUSBX FX-6100 Processor - Six Core
ASUS M5A97 R2.0 AM3 Motherboard
Ultra LSP550 550-Watt Power Supply - ATX, SATA-Ready, SLI-Ready, 135mm Fan
Any Questions Just ask.

If you plan on SLI,then don't SLI the one you have, just get a good single card.I don't know if that PSU is branded but change it if you get a decent GPU.What brands is your power supply>

It still doesn't let me go on the site, but if you plan on SLI,I suggest you get a good branded PSU(Corsair,OCZ etc).
What GPU do you plan to SLI on?

Well the only way to check is to plug it in and wait for it to die.
I wouldn't put a 770 with a dodgy PSU.
What brand is your PSU?
