goodmorning
a couple months back i was trying to RGH my slim with my dad and we kinda soldered in the wrong places and fried a resistor...
so i'm wanting to see if i can take a resistor off from my controller and put it onto my xbox.
here's a pic of what the board looks like now.

pretty messed up wiring but that part works fine, here is the resistor that needs to be replaced.

also we soldered in the wrong places, i'm wondering if that is going to/has already ruined the xbox. while it was soldered in the wrong places we tried booting it and it wouldn't boot (because it was in the wrong spot) so i'm wondering since we tried to boot it if it's dead now.
this is the resistor i'm thinking might work if we can get it off of the controller and onto the xbox.

let me know if this might work or if it wont. remember i tried booting it without the wire in the right spot! thanks for the help peoples let me know if you have any questions.

check the resistance first and affix the correct resistor, not a difficult repair if the pads are still intact.
