It is very hard to just say "I want a lucid dream". It took me almost a month to get mine. Start a routine. Keep dream journals, recall as many dreams as you can before you go to sleep, listen to "dream music" (Youtube that). And when in a lucid dream state, don't think about it too much. It'll fade quickly. That happened to me but luckily I still retained it.

I don't quite see the point in this. What is the benefit or does it just feel really **** good?

It's really funny, i had a lucid dream last night . I got up and looked in the mirror and saw my dog's face????? then i was like wait i'm dreaming and had super jump and woke up because i got excited.

Also try wbtb, that one always worked best for me cause your already super tired and fall back into REM sleep pretty quickly.
