No, this really doesn't happen to all communities.

Just a mix of the subject matter, demographics, size(this is a biggie), a few ponies here and there, and boom: perfect recipe for people badgering each other for their opinions.

Yeah I can get what you're saying but we also had our share of kids begging for things back in the day. There were tons of threads about getting into online lobbies for cod 4, WaW and MW2. So there were definitely people begging for stuff but I do agree that it has gotten worse

flaws in every community mate, i've been here as a user nearly 3 years and it's had it's ups and downs, but there's always been beggers, leechers and fakes, it's just how it is..

This is why I generally stay clear of those threads.

You're going on a rant that you claim is on TTG's community, when in general it is any specific console fanboy. You do know that TTG isn't the only place that console wars happen, right?
