I give it a 4/10.
It looks really plain, but not to the point of which it's really bad.
I also like it because it's not flashing. O_o
I suggest just adding more brushes or effects to it. :cool:

What would be a good program to use, I am currently just using paint

Get photoshop, or until your ready to do different types of stuff with images just use Gimp.
Google search Gimp to get that, or Google search Photoshop CS4 Portable for that one.
I suggest going with Photoshop tbh.
