XBR3 ---> Freeboot 0.32 Problem

XBR3 ---> Freeboot 0.32 ProblemPosted:

Hello,
i have a strange problem with a falcon console..
i have try to flash freeBOOT 0.032 on the console with CB 5770 and XBR3.. i had buyed the console from a man and that man not gave me the original nand file..so i recover the nand file with XBR3 from xellous and i make the freboot image with that (i use this guide: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] )
..so i flash it but when i start the console it show me "alternately red ring" ((first the two red ring upside and after the two red ring downside, some call it "christmas lights") and no video signal on the screen..xellous work well..i have also try to reflash the nand image with XBR3 and the console work well.. what i can do? i know that is a KV problem but i cannot find a solution.
is there a method to disable che kv security check on freeboot 0.32? because i can flash the 0.30 version but i have read that corrupt the profile..but if i create a new profile it corrupt it or no?

You Need 2 Reflash Your Original Nand Via USB/LPT

hey man im not sure but you might need to get a different kv, the falcon takes type two and you might have a type one on there. you could find a donor kv thats type two and flash that to your nand...and see if it works

The only freeboot you should be using on a falcon is 0.030.
End of discussion. Flash it on through xellous and a USB stick.

the strange thing is that my kv is type two and not one..
i have try to check my kv from original nand and kv from xbr nand and are the same and all information match my xbox (serial,mrf date ecc)..

my error is different because my kv is not banned because the console never go on live..

Yeah flash .30! .32 is not designed for falcons I really hope this helps
