you can use it for gamesound and you'll be able to hear the voices through the gamesound , but you won't be able to chat with it until the adapter is released or you build your own

As of right now, the Xbox One does not support third party headsets. This means you can only use the headset the give you or Kinect to communicate with other players.
Microsoft will eventually support 3rd party headsets (such as turtle beaches and others) in February and I believe the exact date is the 14th of that month (someone correct me if I'm wrong). Along with the support of 3rd party headsets, they will also be releasing an adapter that will allow gamers to use headsets they used on the 360 with their Xbox One.

If you were to search the forums, you'll see this has been posted dozens of times. Make your own adapter and make any headset work with the slightest amount of effort by buying a 2/32 submini female input jack and soldering it into your microphone input on the wired microphone that came with the console.
As for the audio you have multiple options, there's a optical output on the xbox one console, you could get a $20 adapter to convert it to RCA and plug your headphones right in. You can also take outputs on your tv or your stereo, tons of options to get audio into any headphones, just need common sense.
