I am almost done buliding my new computer and I have this motherboard: ASRock 990FX Extreme3 AM3+. I am planning on getting the AMD Quad Core A10-Series APU for Desktops A10-6800K however its Socket FM2 and I have AM3+. WIll it work or do I have to get a different one? Please Help I will give REP

No, that is the simple answer. They are completely different sockets so it WILL NOT work. you will need to get a new mobo
