Whenever i try to restore my iPad ( its in recovery mode) it keeps giving me an error message. And i cant get it out of recovery mode. Can anyone help?

The iPad, "iPad" can not be restored. An unknown error has occurred. is what the error message says.

Hold the power button for five seconds
Then, without letting go of the power button, hold the home button for 10 seconds (so your holding both)
Then, after those 10 seconds, let go of the power button and hold only the home button for 10 seconds.
This should work if you do it correctly

what was supposed to happen?

It shoulf put you into dfu mode but if that dosen't work you should get Redsn0w and get it into pwned DFU mode. I've had this problem before and this method worked D
