I am not really interested in getting the Xbox One or PS4, as a good PC seems like it'd be much, much better in the long run. Being as it has many more games, and has just about every game any console has, whether it be ran on an emulator or not.
But anyways, I am new to all of this, and I was wondering if this build would work fine for most any game: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
And will I need to buy anything that isn't on that list? Thanks in advance for anyone who helps!'
EDIT: Alright, here is an updated link of my build: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
If it is possible, I'd like to reduce the price. I don't have a limit on my budget really, but I'd like to spend as least as possible and still have a pretty good build that can run any game with ease.
Is this a good, final build. I took into account all of your suggestions. Anything else I should change? Also, is there anything not on this build list I will need to buy? And should this build handle all kind of games? Being stuff from like, Minecraft/GarrysMod to BF4. I might would even like to be able to record while I game. I'm getting tired of consoles and would like to get into the much more broad world of PC gaming. It would be used primarily for heavy gaming, but it'd be nice to be able to record while gaming or possibly use for a little video editing. But the primary purpose for this would be for light&heavy gaming. I have a laptop to use for school work/web browsing etc, etc. That is one reason it might be "overkill" for gaming, I built it like this to have a little bit of room for everything.

Ok if this is for gaming,it is EXTREMELY overkill.
Swap the 16GB RAM to 8GB
Swap the i7 to a i5 4670k
In gameing, there is no difference between the i7 and i5.

Sweet build. Should run everything ^^. if you've got the money to spend, buy it. Just a tip, if you want, swap out the i7 for an i5 and use the money to upgrade the GPU

EDIT: Sorry, just ignore this message. It's stupid that you can't delete your own message.

Alright, thanks a lot. I'm excited to get into PC gaming and leave console gaming as it is old and I'm tired of spending $500 every few years.

Pretty good high end build. The only thing I would change is instead of getting an NZXT Phantom I would get a Corsair Carbide 500r. I've had the phantom before and I'm using a 500r now. I definitely prefer it. Plus a h100i goes perfect with it!
