I have an iphone 5 running the latest ios and I'm losing batter while I'm not even using my phone. I txt a lot but it shouldent be losing in battery in standby. Does anyone know a fix?

First try backing up your data with iTunes and restoring it.


If that doesn't work try turning off all the radios like wifi, bluetooth, and data whenever possible and turning your brightness to about 50%.
Charge it up completely over night and watch it through the day. If you still see it draining quickly it may be time for a new battery.

Luckily on the 5 its one of the first parts to come out and the part is fairly inexpensive so it makes for a simple repair.

Go to settings, general, background app refresh, turn it of
And go to settings, general, accessibility, reduce motion, turn that on.

backround app refresh, siri, frequent location, and the parallax affect are all off
