You said it yourself. It is their body and they can do it if they like. You shouldn't change your opinion or like/dislike a person any more or less for the mere fact they have ink on their skin. My opinion anyway.

I suppose you're right about the long term issues which may arise, but I don't have any problem with tattoos.
