Whats the point in choosing 3rd gen i5?Might aswell go for a i5 4670K and Z87 mobo.

Yeah I have the artic white version with red LEDs and it's great.

What kind of LEDs did you buy?

Any more opinions? I think this build would work great, I just need to know if this will do what I need it to before I start buying parts. I really don't want to downgrade parts, unless I can get something of equal power/value for cheaper.

Have a look at the R9 280X Graphics cards.

He mentioned editing, a nvidia card will be better for that due to the cuda cores.
