I find it hard to believe that Bethesda was not behind this my reasons? the site is legitamitly regestered to bethesda and they did not say anything until the site was named a hoax. Also the phone number listed on the site is regestered to a bethesda employee and another point is that the site had major traffic so this could not have been some randome guy with a average server. Another thing is the radio brodcast that was heard in boston, either this guy has some connections or bethesda pulled some strings. The final piece is that the coding required to make what the survivor had is extreamly advanced. Anyone can learn how to code but this was to the extremE. I am not saying this is by any means true but i like to keep an open mind based on the facts

Also here's a bit of sources to help you with the whole research thing I told you to do, IGN made a video that talks about how the domain registration was masked and they even tell you what company the site is actually registered under. On my topic, I have posted links to all of these sources, and I even posted links to the website developers personal website which I have translated from Russian to English.

Here's my Thread: CLICK THIS LINK, go study it and check out all the information I have gathered and provided for you guys to educate yourselves with.

i agree with your information but there is no reason to be a dick about my post. everyone has their own opinions and we clearly have our own.

1. Anyone can fake a whois. There's no sort of verification. I could register a website to "God" right now.

2. The owner rented that phone number (Based on news story on home page)

3. This one is weird, but I can't confirm/deny it in any way as I didn't actually hear the transmission in person (only the recording)

4. Hardly.

I gotta agree with you, I dont really think Bethesda was behind it, I thought the website was owned by a company in Europe? And the number was rented.
